"Auntie Fearn" (Linda Stanley), pet sitter

Animals have always held a special place in my heart.
As a child, I can recall being mesmerized by the baby rabbits, born in the backyard of my first home. I was equally enchanted with the goats in the petting zoo!

My first pet was Bailey, a handsome black and white tuxedo cat. He taught me how to speak cat and showed me how simply animals live by openly communicating their needs, and living in the moment.

I began pet sitting several years ago for a disabled friend who left town for the summer to manage her chronic pain.  She felt completely comfortable leaving me with her cat and dog for several months at a time. I became known as their "Auntie Fearn".

As a pet sitter for Auntie Cathy's (Cathy Lynch), I have cared for over 2 dozen animals: cats, dogs, birds, and guinea pigs.  Each pet is a blessed member of the family. I play with them and treat them with TLC so they are relaxed and calm when you return home.

I have also been a massage therapist since 1988 and Reiki practitioner since 2005 and offer Reiki and massage to all animals who request it.

“Auntie Ann Marie” Lazarski, Pet Sitter

I grew up always having the comfort of a cold wet nose. As an only child of a single mother who worked long hours I formed an intimate friendship with my childhood dog named Keltie, a Border Collie mix who was a rescue. When I was alone she comforted me and I always wondered how anyone could ever mistreat such a kind soul. She came from an abusive home but still, despite that, loved people. She was a teacher (all animals are) and she taught me daily lessons in forgiveness, resilience, patience and unconditional love.

Thanks to her I was hooked on animals! When I would play house I was always the family dog or I would play “vet” and line up all my stuffed animals and give them check ups.

My career in hospitality has spanned two decades but in my free time I volunteer for rescue organizations and animal therapy programs which involve their training in treatment and rehabilitation for those people who are in need of therapy dogs.

More than a year ago I started pet sitting professionally to supplement my income and I feel that I have finally bridged the gap between my love for the hospitality industry and my passion for animals. My six year old daughter is now an aspiring “pet sitter” and tags along on pet sits but only with the owners consent.

My clients find that I treat their animals as though they were my own. Animals cast no judgment on us and they love us unconditionally.

It is my absolute pleasure to care for these beautiful creatures in your absence.
